In class today we did the following:

 1. Dr H gave a presentation on  Topic #2:  "On Science & Being a Scientist"   .

2. Students selected and shared their favorite quotes from those listed on this HANDOUT: On Science and Being a Scientist.  and on pages 10 - 11 in CLASS NOTES

3.  We then watched a VIDEO of the scientists themselves talking about science:

4.  Lastly, students worked on Part A of an In-Class Activity (non-graded) on  CARTOONS & QUOTES ABOUT & BY SCIENTISTS  
The Answers to Part A are in the presentation posted above.  Complete Part B on your own and I'll give those answers on Friday)

Go to the In-Class Activity on  CARTOONS & QUOTES ABOUT & BY SCIENTISTS and work through PART A of the activity on your own - record them on today's HANDOUT.  The answers are in Dr H's presentation for Topic #2 (above) .   

Then do PART B on your own, enter your answers on the HANDOUT and bring it with you on Friday so you can check your answers.
