In class today we did the following:
1. Students got into their GROUPS for the first time!! To find your group # and location of where your groups sits in the classroom, please see the appropriate link below for your class section. Your GROUP # is determined alphabetically based on your LAST NAME:
Groups for Section 001+ 002: T TH @ 12:30 - 1:45 pm Groups for Section 003+ 004: T TH @ 3:30 - 4:45 pm
2. Then Dr H gave a presentation on Topic #6 Part II - The Radiation Laws (cont.)

3. We then began our GROUP WORK! Students signed in
on their Group Folder and on the G-1 Group assignment form and worked
together on GI with the assistance of a TA or Preceptor assigned to their group.
Group Assignment G-1 Unnderstanding Radiation, Absorption & Wavelengths of the
Electromagnetic Spectrum (worth 10
pts)
(To review it, see p 32 and 34-35 in Class Notes which contains
most of the
questions in G-1)
4. When all groups had finished and the Group forms were turned in, Dr H went over the answers to the activity.

Find out what GROUP you are in and where your group sits, by clicking on the appropriate link under #1 above. You will need to know your GROUP # for Thursday's TEST!
You can make-up the 10-point group activity you missed by printing out this G-1 Make-Up Assignment, and working on the assignment on your own. Please indicate which section you are in, then sign the document when you are done.
Submit your completed G-1 Make-UpAssignment to Dr H in class no
later than Tuesday Sept 24th and it will be
graded to give you credit for the activity you missed.
