IF YOU MISSED CLASS TODAY

In class today we did the following:

1.  Dr. H briefly went over ASSIGNMENT I-2 on Skeleton Plotting & Crossdating.  Be sure to review the Assignment I-2 directions before Thursday's class and come in with any questions. 
It is due NEXT TUESDAY Sep 28th before 11:59 pm in the D2L Dropbox.

 

2.  Dr H gave a presentation on Topic #7  The Radiation Laws  <== one of the most important topics of the semester!!!

3.   During the lecture, we had several clicker questions and TWO Zombie breaks:

The first break was a  "Sustainability Segment" -- we watched the next segment of  the PBS NOVA show:  Saved by the Sun     (up to the section about Germany)

The second break was a whimsical look at the vibration/rotation behavior of one of the Greenhouse Gases:  nitrous oxide (N2O) by viewing an entry of the "Dance Your PhD Contest.  Watch it again online at:   Dance Your PhD: Tropospheric N2O isotopic composition
