In class today we did the following:
1. Dr. H finshed up the presentation on Topic #8 on Atmospheric Structure & Chemical Composition

2. Dr H then introduced Tree Rings & Dendrochronology
A video segment was shown to introduce the class to the wonderful Bristlecone Pine trees - oldest living things on Earth! -- more will be shown later on.
3. Then Dr H gave a demo of how to do the I-2 Assignment on Skeleton Plotting and Crossdating (due Thursday Oct 1in the D2L Dropbox). Some of the comments she made in class are captured in the presentation above but for a demo you'll have to take advantage of an optional Help Session or try it yourself after going through the online tutorial that accompanies the assignment. If you'd like extra help, see go to one of the following sessions.

4. We did not have time to do the G-2 Wood Kits group activity, so we'll do that next Tuesday!
Students were reminded that we have another TUESDAY RQ coming up next week. RQ-4 on Thermodynamics is due Tuesday Sep 29th.
