ANNOUNCEMENTS

IF YOU MISSED CLASS TODAY

In class today we did the following:

 1.  Dr H gave a presentation on Topic #8 - Part II on Thermodynamics   

(It included a hands-on sketching activity in which students reasoned out how to draw energy flow diagrams to illustrate the efficiency of 3 different types of light bulbs.  (See details in today's presentation.

2.  We had a short break in mid-lecture to watch this video on HEAT TRANSFER -- it's a good review for Test #2

 

  3.  Class ended with some practice clicker questions to prepare for Test #2  (see the posted presentation)
