1. Next TUESDAY
& THURSDAY'S
CLASSES are critical ones -- you
will need to be in attendance to collect information for the
I-4 Individual Assignment (worth
50 pts) which is
a report based on the Bristlecone Pine classroom activity.
2. We are going to slow the pace a bit -- you've
been working hard! Since we took a large chunk of class time on Tuesday
to review for the midterm, we are a little behind schedule.
3. Therefore,
ASSIGNMENT I-3 will NOT be due next Tuesday (as stated on
the Semester-on-a Page schedule -- p 5 of Class Notes).
Instead it will be due a week from
today on Oct 12th. You CAN however do it on
your own now by following the directions on pp 157-158 of CLASS NOTES. I
will have slightly updated instructions posted in D2L under Assignment by
tomorrow. In class next Tuesday I will do a demo and we will also have
some computer-lab help sessions set up next week before it is due on Thursday.
4. RQ's are BACK!!!
RQ-4's scheduled due date is Oct
12 (a week from today). The Self Test
ST-4 and RQ -4 will be posted this weekend.
5. GRADEBOOK
-- a gradebook update will take place this weekend -- you will have plenty of opportunity (including today's midterm
exam!) to improve your grade during the rest of the semester.
