IF YOU MISSED CLASS TODAY

In class today we did the following:

1.  Dr. H then gave a presentation on Topic #9 The Earth's Energy Balance. This is a key TOPIC OF THE SEMESTER for understanding global change processes. :

3. For our "Sustainability Segment" we began a new film:

Too Hot Not To Handle  "Too Hot Not To Handle"     (a 2006 HBO Documentary)

The video is now posted in D2L (under videos shown in class)  We watched the first 10-11 minutes, through the section on "Extreme Weather."

ANNOUNCEMENTS  

For those diligent students who read the CHECKLIST and noticed that no mention of Assignment I-2 appeared in this weeks checklist . . . . .   I-2 is being moved to later in the semester.   There is no assignment due this week, what you should be working on is reading Chapter 2 in SGC, and completing Self Test & RQ-5 (due next Monday, Oct 17th)
