1. Dr. H gave a presentation on Topic #9 -- PART II of The Earth's Energy Balance. This is a key TOPIC OF THE SEMESTER for understanding global change processes. :

There were two clicker questions as part of the presentation
2. The students got in groups and started working on the next group activity: Applying the Energy Balance Terms to Your Everyday Life (see page 54 in Class Notes). Students present signed in to show they were there working n the Group Activiy. It will be finished in class on MONDAY Oct 17th.
3. Students were reminded not to forget RQ-5 due on Monday, 30 minutes before class.
