ANNOUNCEMENTS

IF YOU MISSED CLASS TODAY

In class today we did the following:

1.  Dr. H gave a presentation on Topic #9 on Understanding Systems & Feedbacks - Part I

2.      Then we watched the last segment of the PBS NOVA show:  Saved by the Sun .   
        You can now view it again online under VIDEOS> Class Videos in D2L.  
          or click on the green "Watch the Program" link at http://www.pbs.org/wgbh/nova/tech/saved-by-the-sun.html .
                   Students did some "practice writing" preparing a Position Statement in response to a question related to the video and  shared their answers with their group . 
                    These will be reviewed and serve as an indicator of presence in class today.    

3.  Then the GROUPS to continued working on:  G-3 Applying the Energy Balance Terms to Your Everyday Life (worth 10 pts)

• Review the extremely important presentation on Topic 9  Systems and Feedbacks - Part I
  
• View the last segment of "Saved By The Sun" noted above in D2L under Videos > Films and Videos Shown in Class.
  
  
• Work on the G-3 Applying the Energy Balance Terms assignment on your own so that you can participate to your Group's Answer Sheet when  you return to class.
