In class today we did the following:
1. Dr. H gave a presentation on Topic # 9 Systems & Feedbacks - Part II + an introduction too Topic #10 How Climate Works (based on local energy balances):

2. We watched the final segment of "Saved by the Sun"

3. Then Dr H gave an update on where ARIZONA stands with respect to Solar Energy right now, AZ's Renewable Energy Standard, and how the State is doing on working toward the goals of the Standard. She alos urged students to learn about the Arizona Corporation Commission http://www.azcc.gov/ and to do some research on who to vote of the Commission candidates in the upcoming elections to reflect your own views on this issue.

4. Then the class got into groups to wrap up work on Assignment G-3 Applying the Energy Balance Terms
5. Lastly, there was a Group Bonus Point Challenge Opportunity based on the feedback loop questions on p 61 in Class Notes
