ANNOUNCEMENTS

IF YOU MISSED CLASS TODAY

In class today we did the following:

1. Dr. H gave a lecture presentation on Topic #10 How Climate Works.  
The first few slides gave the answers to the G-3 Assignment and reviewed how to reason through the Arctic Sea Ice Feedback Loop Group Challenge Point question.
 The current Group and Team Challenge Point "standings" were also revealed.

In the lecture, we watched some neat animations of global maps of the components of the energy balance:

In the lecture Dr H showed a short clip of a scientist
 demonstrating "the dishpan experiment"

 2. We watched the first 10 minutes of our new "sustainability segment" film:   "Too Hot Not to Handle"

We watched from the beginning segments up to "What Kind of Changes"

 

3.  Then Dr H went over the Midterm Exam results (see summary slide in presentation) and the exams were returned.
