ANNOUNCEMENTS

IF YOU MISSED CLASS TODAY

In class today we did the following:

1. Dr H gave gave a wrap up of the Radiation Law presentation and then started a new presentation on Topic #10 Atmospheric Structure & Chemical Composition.  Students used the RESPONDERS to answer questions during the presentation.

2.  The end of the presentation above (beginning with slide # 78)  included information about Question #10 on Thursday's Test #2.

ANNOUNCEMENTS  

• ASSIGNMENT I-1 is due NOW.  Please turn it in at the front desk.
  (If you forgot to bring it with you to class, we will accept it until 5:00 pm today if you (a) drop it off at Dr H’s office, or (b) email it to Dr H  BEFORE 5:00 PM)

• RQ-3 was due at noon today.
   

• Test 2 is on THURSDAY Oct 7th.  The “Top 10” is posted in WebCT under Study Guides.
   Question # 10 on Test 2 is a hands-on, “open notes” question that you can practice ahead of time via a link on the “Top 10” study guide. 
  Details in class today.

   

IF YOU MISSED CLASS TODAY:  

• Assignment I-1 was due at class today.  I will accept it until 5:00 pm today if brought to my Tree-Ring Lab office or emailed to me.  After this, points will be taken off for late papers.
• Review the presentation on Topic #10 above.
• Be sure you practice for Test #2's Question #10 as indicated above.
