ANNOUNCEMENTS

IF YOU MISSED CLASS TODAY

In class today we did the following:

1.  Dr H briefly went over where we are in the semester and what remaining graded activities remain:

 

 2.   Dr H then gave the a background presentation to wrap up  Topic #13 Natural Climate Forcing - Volcanism
                                                (The presentation included a few clicker questions!)
      Topic #13 wrap -up Natural Climatic Forcing - Volcanism [color pdf] 

3.  Students then got in groups and completed G-4 on Volcanism & Climate.  (see pp 73-74 in Class Notes)

4. After the Group  Activity, we watched the FINAL section of:

"Too Hot Not To Handle"     The video is posted in D2L.   NOTE: you are responsible for the content of all films shown in class -- that's why they are available to watch in D2L if you are absent -- or (heaven forbid!) leave early!

5.   Lastly, the FINAL EXAMS were returned!  (grade updates in D2L will take place over the next few days.)

• RQ-7 IS DUE NEXT TUESDAY !!  (30 minutes before class)

• Since you missed G-4 Volcanism & Climate, you'll have to complete it on your own and turn it in next TUESDAY, Nov 9th, in class.  
  The activity is on ( pp 73-74) of Class Notes, but to do it on your own, use THIS VERSION [pdf]
  Review the presentation FIRST before you attempt it.  If you need help, see a TA or preceptor for assistance -- or visit Dr H during office hours.
