ANNOUNCEMENTS

IF YOU MISSED CLASS TODAY

In class today we did the following:

1.  Dr H gave a quick review of the Ozone Key Concepts "bullet" points and the "Things to Know and Ponder about the Ozone Issue" on p 127  in Class Notes.

2.  Dr H then talked about a news item in today's Arizona Daily Star about the upcoming Supreme Court Case about carbon emissions.

3.  The class then watched "Ode to Kyoto" a segment of the PBS show NOW that aired January 23, 2004.  You can watch the NOW program video clip on your own and read about the  HISTORY OF GLOBAL WARMING & GLOBAL WARMING IN THE PUBLIC EYE at the following link:

-- and we watched a few "Special Feature" segments from the DVD in which Gore updates some recent scientific findings since the movie was filmed (these segments are not available online, but you can rent or get the video yourself to watch them on your own.)
