ANNOUNCEMENTS

IF YOU MISSED CLASS TODAY

In class today we did the following:

1.  Dr H made some announcements about Assignment I-6 & how the Global Warming Debate would be conducted in your groups (due next class) and the Final Exam.  Click here to see the announcement slides:

2.  Students took the individual part of  Test #4

3. Dr. H (with TA commentary) showed the next segment of the LINKING-TO-LIFE slides:  Groups 9 through 16

Dr. James Hansen, chief of NASA's Goddard Institute for Space Studies, says failure to halt the further depletion of the ozone layer will put New York City and Washington, D.C. under water.

5.  Finally, the class got into groups and took the GROUP part of Test #4 --and also finished up Assignment G-8
 

ANNOUNCEMENTS  

1.  Your last RQ, RQ-10 on IGC Chapter 1 is now posted. (It’s a repeat of RQ-B). Complete it anytime between now and 11:00 am on Dec 14th the date of our Final Exam.

2.   ALL Thinking Deeply Reports are DUE by 11:59 pm Saturday night!

3. I-6 – Global Warming Debate Preparation is your LAST assignment -- Due at our next class (Tues Dec 5) during which the debate will take place. COME IN COSTUME to represent your role and compete for a mini-prize!

4. You must bring a copy of your completed I-6 Assignment with you to class so you can refer to it during the debate.
