ANNOUNCEMENTS

IF YOU MISSED CLASS TODAY

In class today we did the following:

1.  Students got in their groups to complete G-3 on Classifying Wood Samples.

2.  The preceptors showed students cardboard skeleton plots based on the I-1 Assignment to give some hints on the assignment.

3.  When done, students were asked to read & discuss pp 52-53 in Class Notes on  the RADIO SPECTRUM as the most valuable natural resource of the information age.

4.  The class watched the end of The Methuselah Tree video.  See the links referred to at the end of the video here:

5.  Dr H went through Question #10 on Test #1 with the class to be sure everyone understands it now.

6.   Dr H gave  a presentation on Topic #8 Electromagnetic Energy

ANNOUNCEMENTS  

1)  RQ-2 was due noon today. 

2) RQ-3 is posted now and is due TUESDAY Oct 5 at noon. This is your LAST RQ until the week of Oct 20th (after the Midterm Exam) 

 3)  Assignment I-1 is also due Oct 5th, a week from today.  Be sure you have a copy of the GREEN handout with directions.  (It's also posted in WebCT under ASSIGNMENTS.) Note the 2 pt BONUS POINT opportunity at the end of the handout.
