WHY YOU NEED EITHER  A "CLICKER" OR A RESPONSEWARE LICENSE:

  •  Our class requires regular use of some form of interactive response device: either a separate "Clicker"  (Response Device) which you purchase and bring to class each day, or a license /subscription for a "virtual  device" (ResponseWare)  which allows you to enter responses via a website or app available on your own laptop, smartphone, or tablet.

  • Clicker Response Devices may be purchased at the UA bookstore or online at the Turning Technologies Online Store.

In the PDF you will see the following important questions:

  1. Does your instructor identify ResponseWare as a student response
    option     for class? 
            [The answer is YES in Dr. Hirschboeck’s GC 170A1course sections ]
     

  2. Do you have a smartphone, tablet, or laptop?    YES     NO  

  3. If you are a smartphone user, does it have an Unlimited Data Plan?    YES     NO

  4. Have you successfully tested your device for internet connectivity
     in the classroom?  YES   NO       (you can check this before or after class)     

 

If you answered YES to ALL of the above questions
 the purchase of a ResponseWare license may be right for you.
 However, be sure you read the entire PDF


After you have read through the PDF, and if you have determined that a Responseware Subscription is right for you, or if you wish to purchase a "Clicker" Response Device from the Turning Technologies Online Store, not the Bookstore, proceed with the following steps to make your purchase:

 

     STEP 1         -  Go to store.turningtechnologies.com 
                          -  If you haven't signed up for a Turning Account, get one.
                               -  Enter the UA SCHOOL CODE =   R3Dt  (use upper + lower case)

 

STEP 2   Proceed to the STUDENT STORE to make your Purchase 
                and get your DEVICE ID
                      (you will need it later to register your device for use in our class)
                          
            The Device ID on the CLICKERS is on the back of the device
            The Device ID for your ResponseWare subscription will be sent
            to you by email when your sign up for a "Turning Account" and your
              online purchase is complete
