ASSIGNMENT I-1   FOOTPRINTS & GLOBAL CHANGE - PART B

In this part of the assignment you will dig deeper into the three types of Footprints you calculated in PART A:  Ecological Footprint (EF), Carbon Footprint (CF) and Water Footprint (WF). You will also examine Ecological Footprints from different countries.
 
NOTE:  In this (and future) Individual Assignments, those students who are striving for a top grade (which reflects a truly exceptional effort), the “TOP TWO” points (out of the 20 available for Part A + Part B) will require you to “go the extra mile” in order to earn them.

  HOW TO SUBMIT ASSIGNMENT I-1 PART B

1.  First refer to FAQ #12 for guidelines on what form your individual assignments should be in.

2.  The document you submit should be in MS Word format (.doc) with the asnwers
                     typed into the ANSWER FORM file at the link below:
                        I-1-lastname-firstname.doc  <= click here to download
                                        the Answer Form file you should use

3.  Very important: after you download the file linked above and type your answers into it, RENAME  the I-1-lastname-firsname.doc file with your OWN LAST & FIRST NAME, then save it with this new name.

Here is Stella' Student's example:   I-1-student-stella.doc 

4.  Click on the DROPBOX icon in D2L and follow the directions to upload your saved .doc into the Assignment I-1 PART B  folder.  (The Dropbox is now open!)

You will receive the 5 points for PART A based on what you entered for your footprint results on the G-1 GROUP FORM in class last week.

 

FILE SAVING ISSUES:

IMPORTANT:  So that we can read your Assignment,
Please submit it in .DOC format only 
(NOT .docx or .wps (Microsoft Works)  or .odt. (Open Office)  

If your word processing program is Word 2007 or  Word 2010, Microsoft Works or Open Office, it should allow you the option to "save as" so you can save your file in the .doc format

MAC USERS:  You will have to EXPORT your file into a DOC format. 
Please put a .doc extension on your file name.  It should look like this: 
I-1-student-stella.doc
