• You can earn up to 10 POSSIBLE PARTICIPATION POINTS (PPP) out of 500 TOTAL COURSE POINTS based on your clicking record.
  

• When you are in class and click for each of the questions, you will get credit for a “Clicker Day”  (“low stakes”--  you do NOT have to be correct!)

• YOUR CLICKER DAY PERCENTAGE (%) will be computed as follows:

              (# of YOUR Clicker Days / ALL Clicker Days)  X 100 = YOUR CLICKER DAY %

• At the end of the semester, the 10 “Possible Participation Points” (PPP) will be weighted by your Clicker Day Percentage (%)

                        Example 1:    There are 25 classes with clicker questions, and you get
                                                    credit for clicking on all 25 clicker days : 
                                 (25  ¸  25 )  x  100 = 100% 
                                 100% x 10 PPP = 10 Participation Pts for you!

                        Example 2:    The are 25 classes with clicker questions, and you get
                                                       credit for clicking on only 15 clicker days : 
                                   (15  ¸  25)  x  100 =  60% 
                                    60% x 10 PPP =  6  Participation Pts for you!
