 Monday, September 29, 2014 - 5:30pm - 7:30pm
Location:
 McClelland Hall, Berger Auditorium
Sponsors:  The Institute of the Environment

Yoram Bauman, 'the world's first and only stand-up economist,' performs regularly at colleges and corporate events and is the author of the two-volume Carton Introduction to Economics. He has appeared in TIME Magazine and on PBS and NPR.  His new book, The Cartoon Introduction to Climate Change (Island Press), illustrated by Grady Klein, is an engaging and fast read that makes the climate basics easy and climate nuances understandable, all solidly grounded in a refreshing realism.  Most importantly, it offers the hope that if we make use of the tools within our reach, we can make progress before it's too late.

Book sales and signing will be available after the presentation. The event is free and open to the public. Read more about  The Cartoon Introduction to Climate Change HERE
