ANNOUNCEMENTS

IF YOU MISSED CLASS TODAY

In class today we did the following:

1. Dr H gave a quick overview of the ASSIGNMENTS for the rest of the semester that are now posted.  (See Assignmnets in D2L)
She also indicated that we are halfway through the course and now moving into the
GLOBAL CLIMATE CHANGE PROCESSES part of the class:

 

2.   Dr. H then gave a presentation on Topic #10 The Global Energy Balance - Part I. This is a key TOPIC OF THE SEMESTER for understanding global change processes. :

3. For our "Sustainability Segment" we began a new film:

Too Hot Not To Handle  "Too Hot Not To Handle"     (a 2006 HBO Documentary)

The video is now posted in D2L (under videos shown in class)  We watched the first 10-11 minutes, through the section on "Extreme Weather."
